Maybe you need a minimum of four members to stay on the map?

I support the idea of rewarding successful guilds, but I think we have plenty of hats, especially guild hats floating around. The map icon was another nice idea, but I think it adds something to fort capturing that guild spar doesn't have. It designates dominance of that area by the guild whose logo is displayed. Battle arenas are more of a shared environment by nature from my point of view. It is hard for me to picture a single guild gaining control. Also, the guild in control would not be able to defend the title when the members are offline, and therefore the controlling guild would not always be accurate. Plus, the map would soon become cluttered, and lag when opening it would be incredible.
Like I said, though, I would support a guild spar update of some sort.

I understand, but two "tower images" shouldn't make much of a difference in lag. I just think players aren't exposed to guild spar often and people don't care.
Well, there's boosting everywhere you go. It's a concern with any open system. However, boosting can be punished and as guild spar becomes more popular, the more those arenas will be filled.
