Check the warranty status on the graphics card and if it's eligible they should replace it. All you'll have to do is ship it there which may or may not be at your expense.
Another possibility is that it's the power supply. Check warranty on it as well.
Depending on the age of the computer it might be possible that some of the capacitors on the motherboard blew or are leaking.
Try booting your computer into safe mode with networking and see if you have the same issues. If it works fine in safe mode it might be a driver issue, in that case get the latest drivers for your video card.

I have no idea about the warranty, probably doesn't have it since I've had this for 2 years. And I can't boot it into safe mode because I can't see the screen. I've gotta go in this case sometime. It might be the dust clogging something up because my brother broke open the door to it and we couldn't find the screws so I just left it open.
