Okay, so lets say a certain someone took some coal from a trench that I made that is for show. If I put signs around this trench that I made saying that it's mine, if someone takes exposed coal from it, is it griefing? The coal is part of something that is mine, though it may not be very useful, it's still part of something that is mine. Like lets say I make a treehouse. I make my house in the leaves and on top. Someone comes and cuts down the tree. Same concept, just a little bit bigger scale. What I'm getting at is I don't have a silk touch pickaxe and a certain someone took some coal from my property.
