Language pronunciation is never truly correct. Its only correct relative to the people that live around you and the way that's best fit for success in your area. Language always changes, and because of that it can be argued that modern British English is incorrect compared to English before the dark ages, heck, it can be argued that the entire modern English language is one giant mispronounced mess of other European languages. Saying one group of people pronounce their local form of language incorrectly is pretty discriminatory. Our version is just as correct as yours for all practical purposes.
