orrrrrr......... one could just be a kind person and tell people where hat came from/what the code is.
and it seems like too much work. i hate it when time is wasted working on non-game play stuff.

Not everyone is going to remember where their hat came from and not everyone is going to be so generous as to telling people their code although it being a public upload. I really don't know anything about scripting or anything, but it doesn't look like it would be too difficult to display the persons custom in their "More Actions" section of their profile.
