The only thing that can give an Apple a virus is that one weird Russian website that I couldn't care to find out the name of. Other than that, Apples do not catch viruses. Even from sites with viruses.
If you can afford a Mac, you can afford a doctor, unless you are purely stupid with your money.

You are a total moron. Here's how it worked. Apples couldn't get viruses at first because they weren't coded for Apple products. Now loads of viruses work on Macs. In fact a good hacker can write a virus to execute on any OS. The only way a computer couldn't get a virus is if it didn't allow any files to be put on the computer. No Internet, no USB drives, nothing. Also don't give me the firewall story. There will always be a backdoor the hackers eventually will discover and get through.
