16GB of ram is overkill. You're better off focusing on more important aspects like a proper PSU(premade computers put in a bare minimum, so upgrade anything and you'll run into problems) or something.

The RAM isn't going to cost me anything since I'm selling my current 8GB of RAM for $100, that's how expensive it is around here unless you order online which is what I'm doing for 16GB of RAM. I've checked and my PSU is fine and I could even overclock my graphics card (when I get it) and my processor.
