NOTE: This thread is for the people who actually are confused about the terms of making/editing/stealing. If this thread does not apply to you please do not write a comment such as this being a pointless thread. I'm very aware a lot of people on Graal know these definitions and like to be ass holes and claim it anyways. This thread is for people who do not or would like to learn.
There are apparently many people on Graal who do not know the correct definitions of made/edit/stole. There are also those who do know and claim graphics as theirs just to be a thief. Well today I'm going to explain whether or not you actually made something.
"I recolored a head. I made it!" Yeah... NO. If you recolor someone's graphic you did
NOT make it. You simply edited it. It's a very simple edit that only takes a few clicks and hardly any effort.
Example:

"I added a T-shirt onto this body. I made it." Not quite. You edited the graphic, but did not create it from scratch. Editing isn't bad as long as you do a large chunk of it on the graphic or if you get permission from the original creator.
Example:
"I used this graphic as a reference to help create an outline for my own. I made it." Yes, you did make it as long as you did not trace over the image or copy it to look exact. I use many reference and outlines from other bodies to create my own or even create my own outline and use it for my other bodies.
Example:

"I created my own graphic from my original design. I made it." Yes, yes you did. If you created a graphic from your own design and by your own hand you created it.
Example:
"I took a graphic that someone else made and uploaded it. I made it." No. Just no. Stealing someone else's work is a really low thing to do. They invest their time to make it and you disrespect them by uploading it without their permission.
I'm aware I used my customs as examples and it's just because I don't want people getting angry for showing their design on here.
The point of this thread was to help correct some people who are constantly saying they made a custom but obviously did not.
