The whole tower-taking system is utterly stupid. The fact that most towers are designed to have only one way to get to the flag room, the fact that guilds tend to pile all of their members inside that flag room, and the fact that, as mentioned, these members usually respawn right inside or 20 seconds away from the flag room completely destroys any real notion of strategy. The best anyone can do is charge straight in and hope they get lucky. Personally, I think it would be better to have multiple points in a tower that players would have to capture before the tower is taken. It would force the controlling guild to actually spread their guards out a bit (whoaa my god, what a concept) and would prevent them from being cheap, giving some of the lesser guilds an actual chance and more room for strategy.
