Yes I say cocky because you feel you are so above someone to make fun of their work. I hoped by showing you your first creations, it would remind you that you too once were not that good. And looking at that thread, people gave you feedback rather than ridiculing you. Perhaps you should try the same if you wish to be a mentor.

Feedback given or not, it does not dismiss that you still are poking fun at him.
