Quests die out because once you complete them theres little or no replay value. The only quest that remains popular is the Pyrate Bay cleanup daily event because it can be replayed. That's why quests don't make a server and focus should be on events/minigames (Archery Range) or activities/items to enhance gameplay (Towers or new weapons). Theres a reason single player games dont have as many hours of gameplay as a multiplayer game.

You're absolutely wrong. Quests are quite a social experience. I remember redoing quests to help friends, or leading noobs to quests that they don't know about. This is essentially a different form of replay value and adds to the social experience of the game.
