To put your own graphics in, first they need to be saved in 8-bit. This is pretty easy on Paint.NET, if you have it. Just save the image and select 8-bit.

I'm not sure if this it ABSOLUTELY necessary, but now place the graphics in your Images folder (Graal>Levels>Images). You can also make your own.

Next, make a blank NPC in the Graal Editor. Click browse, and select your image. You can also add script to it below. Click done, and your image should be a NPC in your level.
