The line that is missing is for Zoom, Pixelated Effects and Multitasking. As you can see, it looks better. It also has a new button "less lag" which reduces the lag on Era. You will also need to re-enable the event / auction pms if you wish to receive them. (As in make sure they are ticked) |
Finally itīs cleared :P
And what exactly getīs disabled/enabled with the "less lag" button? Killing apps in the background? Disableing effects? |
Looks nice, I wish it was just a scrollable two-columned list though because it's so inflexible when it comes to adding new options.
By the looks of it you're basically ****ed if you have to add a new option, which is why I never really got around to adding a check box for hide/show hours on classic because I would have to re-organize the whole damn thing. |
I've made it scroll- but there are not enough options to make it scroll.
I re-designed it to have the scroll effect, but I managed to move things around without having to use the scroll. ( It's there if we need it though :) ) Oh the less lag button does nothing. It's a placebo effect rofl pst, it doesn't use enough resources on visual things (i.e. leafs on trees, gas and explosions) |
Haha

Lol already thought it was a placebo, already wanted to create a meme bout it, like this:
'Soo... how does this less lag button work?' -'Magixx!' *trollface* 'The fu?' *poker face* |
I knew it. This is like my suggestion for a "suggestion/staff contact" area with a sign saying that all messages will be recorded and staff will enter the room stealthed to occasionally answer questions.
Never go the area, theyll never know. |

Nice :)
I don't like the iEra GUIs or the font, however, (personal opinion), and I think you could improve the server if you were to make them... better. Of course that's just my personal opinion... Also the music is sad and depressing (imo) and if it were changed to something upbeat and smooth like Classic, it could go a long way. |
is there a way movement can be rescripted so it doesn't slow down when you lag? most games do it by having a delta timer, so when the frame finishes you move time*speed rather than a set distance every frame.

The movement doesn't lag. To be honest, Era doesn't lag. I've never had lag using iOS 4.. I'm still working on reducing lag though. Made the gas particles less laggy and explosions. (Bombs and such) |
I've often experienced lag on my 2g iPod.
but then again; its a 2g. and im on a **** connection. |
When I had my 2g its more clientside lag you experience then serverside, you can play iEra pretty well on a bad connection. I know this from when I upgraded my 2g to a 4g :)
|
Well snk to be honest, i don't think u play much on ur iPod xD
Or at least you didn't had a big crowd next to u ._. Trololol My Internetz isn't bad and i still lag on a 4G, and it even has random generated crashes for me (yes even without lag i crash sometimes) |
