Theres no need for a new level editor though... It is satisfactory,
No it's not, it's 10 years out of date.

If your not happy with that your being too fussy.
Ya, we're totally fussy because we're pissed off that they want us to make everything for them with 10 year-old development tools. Tools that could have easily been updated but they simply refuse to.

What new features would a new level editor include anyway o_0 I can't think of anything.
Layers for one. Also, don't say "but gonstruct supports it" or "make an online editor!" because many people aren't aware. Not only does it not support layers, but it deletes any layer data > 0. This means it's very easy for someone unaware(or simply forgetting) to open it up via the default editor and erase a ton of data. Also, it doesn't support any of the modern additions of image support that Graal itself has, meaning to actually use images you gotta go bend over backwards just to use them in the editor.
Also, the new editor is not really a new editor for Graal. It's web-based, and it's used for the new level format that's been hinted at many times... which isn't .NW or any variant. It's from one of their other games.
