1.3 Book issue
 

Whenever I use a book and quill I get this lovely image instead of a book.http://i.imgur.com/CDudc.png
Can anyone help with it?
The name of the image file for the book is book.png, should it be something else?

probably your texture pack, if not then i dont know

I haven't had a problem with it. I have written 7 pages so far.

This happens sometimes with random items for me.

Like it was stated above, it's your texture pack. Try to find an update of it wherever you got it from

I made it off the default texture pack for 1.3 :(

As proof its not a texture pack issue I tried it on default...

then idk what's wrong.

Or you may have to use MCPatcher

Google it...

I actually fixed the problem, I decided to go on and just finish the book texture, after I edited it it started to work.
