AFK: Ghost Mode Solution
 
I hate going near or around start. It's filled with afkers who are making the game slow.

I suggest a partial disconnection from era if a person goes afk. The player is disconnected from the server and a menu replaces era on screen.

The menu will have one button. It will say "Connect to Era," and maybe "you have not moved for x minutes on the server. I know the actual app kicks you off era if you afk for too long. However, when you lock your device, afk no longer matters. Ghost Mode would take those device lockers and force them to idle off connection.

An added bonus to ghost mode could be that you can still use pms, gms, and the main menu.

Well, you'd be connected, but your game wouldn't be active. Your character wouldn't be anywhere.

Lol. Throw then in a new map just for afk. Let them all lag together in limbo.

Maybe a warp into the players (gang)house if they afk too long? if they dont have one... i dont know

Or maybe a warp to a place not used too often. Like the Potluck Pig, the art shrine in north era, that map north of gangster zone (someone's house?). Maybe pick a few low traffic areas and make the warp location random per person.

You could also make a conditional option. If era identifies players who have houses, they warp to houses. If not, the last ditch effort woul be to warp them to low traffic areas.

If they are afk let them go to there houses, if it's era and not era+ let them go to a blank level until they move again then tey will be back to their position

I thought about this too. Maybe when they're warped, the last place they were is saved. Maybe add an option where the player chooses to either stay or warp back to their pre-afk location.

No I don't want to walk all the way from southridge to north

That's not really the point. Sometimes my game crashes, my lagging device lags harder, etc. It's a cluster****.

I'd say making a new hangout point is an option but everyone would just go there still.
