You know what really make me mad !
 

the thing that makes me mad is, when your work on a level with such work put into it and time, and the way it pays off is players saying it sucks :(. if they think its bad why not they make us a level, because graal level editor looks easy, but the amount on energy and work/ time is put in hurts when people say it sucks.

It can be hard to put a lot of time into something and then be told it's no good. Trust me, I know how that feels, and if you look around these forums you'll find that you're not alone in this. I'm sorry.

Here's my advice for you:

Take a look at some of these guides, and try to learn the tileset and create levels based on these guides. Practice by example. http://forums.graalonline.com/forums...ad.php?t=47045

Some people will just say it is bad, if it is bad, but some people will actually give criticism that helps. The trick is to ignore the people that don't say anything helpful.

Take it as a form of encouragement to improve your levels and really release a jaw dropping level in the future. I don't know how it feels for levels, but as far as other artwork I've been there.

It's annoying when people say something sucks without explaining why. Best you can do in that situation is use whatever constructive criticism you get and use it as best you can to improve your map.

My steps to improve;

1) Make the thing.
2) Read critical comments.
3) Rage for a while.
4) Read helpful and supportive comments.
5) Continue to improve by asking others.
6) Finally, remake the whole thing.

Heh, this goes in a cycle for me.
