When I had pokemon:blue version (gbc) stolen from me when I was so close to having possession of every single pokemon. My parents felt sorry and bought me gold version but it never was the same :(

Nothing wrong with having your emotions invoked by media. I mean if you want to act all tough and manly go ahead but some of us are have moved on past such shallowness.

Video games can be an art form just like movies or songs. Games can be fun and drive emotions too, just like a movie can be entertaining to watch and drive emotions. Entertainment is not the same as emotion.
