Why is scamming legal(in my opinion)?

Ok so....people have been asking me lately why is this legal. I can't be sure to give you a 100% fact on why? But I can give you a reasonable opinion of why. Which is....because I think it's for the role of them game! What I mean is Era is like...Gangster, street stuff, dealing drugs, cops bustin up the black guys ass(I'm black, don't take any offense to this). You get what I mean? And also it's our items, so it's really not their(the Admins) responsibility in how we trust the person in front of us trading a Excalibur. And also I really wanna start making interesting threads thats lively! But uh..I can't really think of any. Could any of you kindful peeps please PM me on Graalians for some helpful tips? Thanks =)

It's a fake item. But I think scamming should be illegal as it may set a bad example in real life.

That's true...and yes I know it's a fake item, but soooo many people get upset about it. I would if I spent 40k on a Excalibur, which I won't. But still, ya I think it should be illegal. Never know what kids may do or people in general.

It's legal because you drop items at your own risk, we don't encourage it.

Thank you chao! I need the reason behind all this commotion for people who ask me "why is scamming legal?"

it should be legal because if it wasnt its not like admins can zoom every where and fix things.

Well ....that's true....

It's very bad however because it teaches kids that you can get away with scamming. They will take for granted for scamming is easy. Just a little off topic but.... what is the percentage of graal era players who are under 13? I've seen quite some kids playing this game.

But on the side note however, it teaches them to be careful with your belongings, and to watch out to who you trust.

Theres more ages from 13+ players on graal than younger but....id say..35 young 65 older

BabyGhost 06-11-2012 12:03 AM

Really? I find quite some kid players in era.

Notion* 06-11-2012 12:29 AM

I'd say there's more older people who play. Even pedo's who date the teens

I should mention this but, even there was a trading system, there still would be scamming and it still be legal. Scamming just recently became legal in PC era

so is shooting people?

and I will tell you why scamming is legal. Staff have better things to do than tend to crying people over something they brought upon themselves. Plus how can you fully know as a staff member if you were scammed? If scamming were illegal someone could just accuse someone they don't like for scamming and get their item? Which is more unfair? The scenario where you lose an item by your own mistake or one where you lose it just because someone wants to be an ass? Scamming is untraceable and therefore was made legal due to the fact that it can not be solved, and our staff are busy as is. And no there will be no trading system because stephan says no before someone beings that up.
