Levels and Graphics.
Hi! My name is chaos. I have a problem with making levels. What if I wanted to import my own graphics into a level? It would be really helpful and make the level nicer. Thanks!
EDIT: WITHOUT IT BEING AN NPC |
Why can't it be a NPC?
|
And... How can I change to a different tileset such as atlantis tileset? Help? Thanks.

^^ for tilesets. To put your own graphics in, first they need to be saved in 8-bit. This is pretty easy on Paint.NET, if you have it. Just save the image and select 8-bit. I'm not sure if this it ABSOLUTELY necessary, but now place the graphics in your Images folder (Graal>Levels>Images). You can also make your own. Next, make a blank NPC in the Graal Editor. Click browse, and select your image. You can also add script to it below. Click done, and your image should be a NPC in your level. |
thanks!

When adding any files to your Graal folder manually(ala dropping a tileset image into Graal/levels/images) make sure you go to your Graal root folder(Graal/) and delete FILENAMECACHE.txt. Otherwise Graal will not be aware there is a new file to be loaded.

YAY, It worked :D thx!
I used atlantis tileset :O there are some graphical issues now... =.= Now... there are some graphical errors... now everything turns black o.O |
Because I got tired of the number of threads like this being made, I made a tutorial of very basic things, and put the link in my signature.
Whether it'll help or not, I don't know, but have a look. |
