what about give nicknames in friend list to avoid not recognize your friends?
sometimes they change their name and look and when you check friend list, you dont know who they are.
maybe if someone give me a nickname, in friend list will appear: NICKNAME [Lollo]

no. People change names to troll people

I like it, but instead, maybe have the ability to star the player or something which might put the name in a different catagory or at the top of your friends list

Add the ability to add a note to a player (shows up very right from the name) so u can remember

Lol i like to hide as a noob :P wouldn't be possible if your idea if added ;( however i do agree a bit with it. Sometimes i see a stranger in my friends list and i'm like "wtf is he doing in my friend list?!?" then he says to me his "real" name.
