I miss the Initiative
Anyone else? In case you forgot or just don't know it was a guild of Pixel artist that brought you seasonal hats and even owned the museum in which you could buy our artwork and statues as furniture. The museum has not been updated since February though missing Saint Patrick's Day and Easter paintings/statues. I thought it was a cool guild having players put out content for the server and other people appreciating it, and it was simple so that anyone could join. But now I fear the guild is dead, only 2-5 people on at a time and no assignments to make new content. What do you guys think? Should the Initiative start back up or just let it die?

I vote yes
|
1. Guild tag was never required so seeing no one on tag isn't much of a mystery.
2. Trigger has been busy with his new job and said assignments will start soon. The guild was fun while it lasted but unless trigger gets back to us it's currently dead ~ |
I vote no, but instead just let any player submit content for certain events like that. I'm surprised it died. It was really active when I was in it as far as assignments being submitted for contests.

Trigger has been busy so there havent ben any assignments lately
|
To be honest, I never really cared for the guild.. Although I am a member, I never really appreciate competing against others to see who was the best artist out of the guild. So I never really submitted my work until valentines day. SO my vote goes to a NO.

What's to stop players starting a new one?

It is a shame that the Guild has died. I miss those 1G hats x_x

I was and still am a member, it was fun while it was up and running. Then it just...died....

I think someone else than Trigger should handle it. But as we all know, Trigger doesn't offer his guilds ever to anyone else to handle it. He likes to own them all lol.
Couldn't Furryamigo handle it perfectly fine? |
Everyone is busy sometimes. Even myself is busy ATM I didn't get to do any updates for Easter. I don't think the guild has been abandon nor do I believe someone else should handle its management since trigger is the creator and graphics manager of the server.

I think Trigger should remain the main manager of the Initiative. But why not have co-leaders that can make assignments even though the art probably won't be used (iNana's idea; discussed on the Initiative forums)? 1) It'll keep the forums busy 2) give us more to talk about on the guild chat 3) overall help keep the Initiative alive. Of course, the Initiative will be most alive when we have real assignments, but these "fake" ones will help alot.
