Can I do GST on my PC?

I was wondering if I can do the iPhone gst on the fb client. Considering there is no real advantage in using that client. I've heard a few people saying I can
't, but I seriously doubt that because it would be extremely unprofessional. I want to live stream the gst while im in it but i cant do that on iPod. the iPad has the same "advantages" the pc has(ability to use a physical keyboard over vnc via jailbreak(and assign the arrow keys to parts of the screen), large view distance, and low lag), so I don't see why pc cannot.

Well you have to register on your iPhone. But im pretty sure you can "get in" using fb. Im also sure they'll detect that you're on PC and they'll disqualify your guild. And most likely warp you out, which would defeat the purpose of going through all that in the first place.

That is incredibly unprofessional and a terrible idea. iPads have a massive advantage on iEra by being able to see bullets far away and dodge them with ease while shooting far away, and you don't see them banning them. That would be like banning someone from a sport for having good gear.

so you're saying pc players aren't allowed? whoever came up with that rule should be fired lol... might as well ban ipad and everyone using a modern device because they dont lag as much.

*facepalm* playing graal on a jailbroken device isn't against the rules nor illegal. Hacking the game is.

Its techinically is and it is frowned upon by staff. Not that it really matters. I know plenty of staff that use JB. if you are altering game files to change where your controls are you are in fact "hacking" again not like anyone cares. the points is its not a viable excuse to say iDevice has advantages.

It doesn't require changing any files or editing any of the game's memory. All it does is connect to a keyboard and with the keystrokes send touch events to certain locations on the screen.

Your going to far measures. Dude Barely anyone does this so its not a problem with anyone but you. The rule has been decided and is agreed upon so stop bitching about every little thing someone can "possibly" do and start thinking reasonably.

What does that have to do with anything?

Higbey 04-07-2012 04:50 AM

It's perfectly fine if you have VIP you can do it.

Infernus Lapse 04-07-2012 04:54 AM

:/ yah i kinda have to agree with him.. why make everything complicated when you can just get vip. FYI theres a huge advantage for iOS sparrers thats why they have a seperate GST for FB players.

edit: when i said i kinda have to agree with him i meant like the first sentence of his statement.. not the bitching part :)!

iPhone server GST is for iPhone/iPod/iPad players because of people complaining that US had an advantage with PC. (In my opinion.)

Facebook server is for PC players like requested. But I guess that iPod iPhone iPad players are allowed in because there hasn't been complaining. (In my opinion once again.)

So, if you're using the Facebook client to try and register for the iPhone server GST, you can't.

All you do, skill, is complain about sparring on different platforms. Quit it or put it into one thread.

Aran 04-07-2012 02:46 PM

If you want to spar on PC in the GST, buy VIP and join a Facebook team, if you want to spar on iPod, iPhone, or iPad in the GST, join a classic server team. Simple enough?
