Not fair GSTs

I think they should get ranked GSTs because I think most of us know that US is probably going to win for the rest of graal eternity and I mean US has good people. Nice people. But they own so badly I about rage quit. Some might agree with me. Some might disagree. Some might be hatin. Some might be... ... ... idk. I wonder what Rufus has to say about this... :0

Frederick 03-23-2012 07:09 PM

I'm pretty much a fan of them, instead of hating them :P.

iC* 03-23-2012 07:17 PM

No Im not hatin :P Im just saying they are too pro for the GST

Really hate statements like this. We are the underdogs, always have been.

1. One that is expected to lose a contest or struggle, as in sports or politics.
2. One that is at a disadvantage.

n
1. the competitor least likely to win a fight or contest
2. a person in adversity or in a position of inferiority

Because everyone always expects US to lose the GST.

People only expect us to win because we've won in the past. Things change and people shouldn't really expect an automatic victory, it's a rather uneducated assumption. There's a new challenge in every tournament. I consider us underdogs in everything we do, but I wouldn't if there really was no competition on the server.

How you consider yourself doesnt change the way how everyone else considers you.

Nothings changed, you guys have won alot.

You guys are all very pro.

You are nothing close to the underdog.

Its math dude, not physcology

Like I said, it's a rather uneducated assumption and not something that is really derived from statistics. "They've won x times, they must win another!" is just shallow. In every tournament there's attempts at creating a super teams and the lineups are constantly changing. How does that mean we're going to win? We haven't even sparred the teams most of the time. I'd say it is more of a mentality issue.

I honestly can't stand how people put us on a pedestal when it comes to the GST. Far too much pressure.

I doubt when David seen Goliath he thought "Okay this guy is pretty much guaranteed to win, he's beat 6 other people already, I'm going to just lay here now and cry." Poor Goliath, you don't understand the pressure he was under.

That's bull****. Name another guild that had its own island on Classic.

US has always been a large influence on Classic, especially in events and sparring. If there were more than one member of US on a CTF team, the game was pretty much set.
