Minecraft 360 Version Comes Out on May 9th.
 

Microsoft have announced the release date for minecraft 360 version and it will be on May 9th so if anyone was gonna buy it what do you think?

Gonna be barebones and useless like the mobile version :P

Yet is still leagues behind even being remotely what survival was like even in its early stages.

The iDevice version of Minecraft is nothing like the PC version, but it's fun to mess about on in my opinion.

Creative mode still takes a good second or two to destroy a block. GG.

I might get this since I'm not a fan of the computer version.

Not really, its full game, and mods will be availble as dlc. The major ones atleast.

I'd like to see your source on this. As far as I know 360 arcade does not support java, meaning they'd have to recode it again(just like the mobile version). I'd love to know how they managed to code it to a fuller version than the mobile version which has been at it for months.

I read somewhere, i think ign that they hinted at mods for dlc and that it will be a full game, it will be complete vanilla at the bare minimum, it better be, they delayed release by 5 months....

Not in the least. It's nothing like the PC version, so there was never a chance I would have got it for my XBox 360 let alone my PS3 if it was available. :P If the Arcade version was exactly like the PC with online PC to 360 cross-platform support then I might have bought it, and I might consider your statement true.

Mojang isn't even in charge of the Xbox Minecraft development, they gave the rights to some other studio.

PC Minecraft is awesome.
