Njc's Lag Guide
Hello Graalians. I've been seeing people talking about how they can't be involved much in graal era becuase of their version idevice and that their apps keep crashing. Well you see i have done some tests thanks to my cousin and my neighbor (they requested that their names not to be listed) that you can make adjustments to your idevice. Once i made the adjustments to the 2g and 3g ipod touch i was able to play events and activities along those lines. So lets cut to the chase shall we?
*In graal era, Under options, there are settings that you can control. Here is what you should leave the box checked, and unchecked: *checked: -Less effects -Image animations -Sounds -offline PMs -Auction PMs -Gang chat *if you are in a talkative gang, uncheck this when you want to participate in events and such* -Hide blood -Arial font (to be honest i can't stand looking at the other font) -Hide help *unchecked: -Music -Nicknames -Ignore invites -Private online time and stats -Pixelated view -Multitask -PMs from friends only (optional) Now here is the the part that reduces most of the lag: Go on to settings on your idevice. Then go to General->Usage, and it will show your idevice's information. Look at the apps that you have installed. The main cause of the lag is becuase of the space your storage takes up. *Games that are 200MB+ are the biggest causers. Not to mention Graalonline Era is 518 MB* Delete the apps you don't use anymore or barely use. They are a waste of space. Note: If you have games like Infinity Blade and Final Fantasy, DELETE THEM if your upset about this problem. Here is another thing, if your idevice is jailbroken, thats taking up space too. Example gpSphone and other emulators, are 500MB+. DONT PLAY GRAAL WITH YOUR OWN MUSIC!!!Play off itunes or another music player (thank Rok for that bit =D) When I followed these steps the lag was definately reduced ALOT for the ipod touch 2g and 3g. Well that's it guys i really hope i helped you. If you have questions feel free to message me =] |

I think the only checks neccessary are:

Other things are just optionally and should not affect anything on your lag. But good that you posted that for others. |
Check music :D
|
Note* this doesnt work for ipods with a dent in the back, i found out from experience.
|
Nice lag became a bit less =)

And, for the love of god, if you're experiencing lag, don't try to run music in the background (I.E. Pandora) Even running the music you have downloaded to your device will slow it down. Just turn off the tunes, keep a few hundred MBs of space available and don't have 50 apps running in the background simultaneously. Anyone runnins iOS 4 or up I think, can exit out of backgrounding applications. This will give you a nice speed boost. :)
