Missing old graal. (new ideas?)
 

I've been on the gral community since late 2012. It may seem like a long time and it is, but I have a few things to discuss. This post/topic may not reach many but to those who see this, please share your thoughts down below.

I miss how old graal used to look. It gave me a zelda adventure vibe with the old retro graphics. Now, don't get me wrong but it's crazy on how much the developments had come such a far way. It's a good thing but I would like to see some old retro trees or buildings again.

The school building used to be packed in 2014-2018 but now it's deserted as the sahara. The school was just like graal city , with tons of people promoting what not and such but now it's just empty. I would like to see this change again to how it was before but it's a long shot haha (same goes for other buildings such as the police station and the dojo arena).

Maybe it's just me, that I grew older and along with the community but it sucks honestly how this video game of my childhood and still is part of my teenager/youn adult years slowly dying. Most people who used to play this game are mostly in college right now or just about to graduate but it would be sad to see everything go.

I have more ideas and topics to discuss later on but I would like to see what you guys would like to say if any of you guys decide to do so.

I wanted to prove crono wrong but... Made a terrible discovery. Looks like xor is ganondorf, and graal is the dark world. Oh, and crono is right about the overworld, but not the character sprites.

character sprites havent changed though?

I'd say that the new heads and accessories and whatnot are definitely in the new style. NPCs and items for purchase alike. Not that you had mentioned them... Just that they don't match the alttp character sprite style, which is pretty old school.

oh sure, but you can wear the default heads + body.png + normal shields all without a hat for an older look if you wish

Don't get me wrong I like the old nostalgic look aswell. Though the modern graphics is what I'm sure attracts any remaining attention this game could possibly get. It's bright, it's colorful, cartoony, catches the eye. What I really miss is the community. I just wish this game had as much people and activity as it used to. You're right the school is a Sahara while back in the day it was a roleplayers paradise. Same for the adoption center. Do people even dress as babies anymore?

There's just gotta be a way to boost this community man I wanna see graalians active again. Like I'm the only person who even posts in the funny cringey pics thread when that was a hot thread just a couple years ago before the shutdown (and I will not forgive the person who decided to shut down this forum for months and permanently damage the graalians community)

No big difference between 2010 and 2020

i think everyone on classic should gather in a circle and hold hands and say a little wish and boom graal will go back to how it was in the old days and there will never be any problems again and everything will be perfect like it should be. can this happen right now? i think there is a switch on classic mainframe that switches it back to old graal
