The profiles were updated today, rather then the traditional bottom left stats and all, there's now a slider at the bottom of a profile which you can slide to a new screen with the persons stats. PK deaths, event wins were added. The PM and add friend buttons were moved to the right of the avatar where the item slots would be, and the original stat locations are now replaced with language, birthday, gralats, alignment, partner, online time, and gender.

Thoughts? I'll post screenshots later if no one else does. I think it's flabbergasting and stats look less cool now.

what's the point of even having the birthday field if you can change it (meaning that there's nothing given on the day set, meaning that it's kinda pointless)

event wins is something that should have obviously been shown since forever ago
showing deaths is beyond dumb and will only encourage a careful style of PKing and aggressive community attitudes towards it (only matters if you care though, which you shouldn't)

Woah, they finally added PK deaths? I hope they dont allow you to hide some of these stats.

The slider looks ugly; it could be just a third toggle button that matches the others. And the stats page looks so empty

I would assume it's a placeholder for a future update. Flags were changeable in the past as well but were locked later on, I can only theorize that it's a similar concept. Maybe around the time of the next major update (NGS????) they'll implement a locked birthday you can only set once which gives you a unique item for that month and year.

it's an A-Okay update I guess.

So basically this update copied era but with added birthday(?), but yeah its cool and weird at the same time.
But imo I think its better to replace birthdays with joined year, so that players can know what year they started playing graal :o (or maybe add that feature too idc)

The bottom portion of the player statistic page is pretty empty.. Implement a way for players to showcase their achievements here. (GST belt, Easter egg hunt, etc)

Stats kinda look ugly in my opinion. Entire slider thing. And everything was just more simple the old way. Now it's like two pages. And some things aren't even like really necessary like birthdays.

My full opinion on this update:
It's a step in the right direction, but hopefully some work is done to it soon.
Stats are painfully misplaced, example spar W/L is placed one on top of the other which just looks bad. Should stay a W-L format. Same with Kills/deaths.
On the note of stat misplacement, I feel like the stuff like birthday/marriage partner/alignment/gralats should be on page #2 and the actual stats like kills/spar wins should be on page #1. Makes more sense to have the second slide be a sort of summary of a player you can optionally slide on, rather then having to slide to get to the important stats that most of us click for.

As for the new messages/friend system on profiles, i think we'll get used to it. I like the old one better, just bigger and more fitting but I'm sure we'll grow accustomed to it.

As for my last concern, around GST time the servers get exceptionally laggy and it's really difficult to open profiles (they won't load.) So if we can't load one profile, I'm not sure how having 2 profiles in one will go especially when theres server lag.

Showing the deaths is pointless specially when it’s under your kills. It’s lile you guus are comparing the spar wins/deaths to the Player Kills/Deaths. Which are completely two different things. You can literally Die at anytime including when you BK (when you BK the kills are added to your BK stats but when u die there is just one type of deaths..) Also, when you tower players don’t really focus on killing but they actually focus on defending the tower, which means dying doesn’t matter as long aa you defend the tower (that’s before ppl can see ur deaths) Another way u can die without killing is in events, not much to explain here. Probably 20% of my deaths came from me getting killed while moving in the map.
Having this feature that publicly show deaths is ridiculous, it’s like a KDA deaths to kills..


Edit: where is the arabic language on the list? There is a lot of arabs in the game.
