Remake the GST?
 

As many of yall know, GST is very infrequent and happens every season.
so wat bout this for the new gst that I came up with xD.

-Every month gst happens.
-Hats distributed for a team that wins, places 2nd, or places 3rd (the most times in one season) So basically, this would mean that an individual could stockpile its wins/runner-up positions even when going with a different team to get a higher(or lower) placement in GST. This "stockpile" would expire every season. Everytime there is a tie for a spot (for example 3rd), the 3 "teams" or whoever was in those teams will do a ETBrawl faceoff(basically free for all in a huge ass ring) at end of the season. The last 7 people standing will get the hat AND will vote what team name they must use to represent their standing.
(Example: Neissea, Apostles, and Sage gets 3rd and are ALL different people. all 21 people go into the ETBrawl ring to face off and the majority vote on using the Sage name--> Sage gets 2nd BUT the 7 members won't necessarily all be from sage. These 7 members do get the hat though.).
-Timer (1min) set up for every hit. So everytime a person registers ONE hit, that resets timer to 1 minute.
-GST statues established after ETBrawl or after the season (dependent on frequency and on who wins...)
-Groups of 7, 5 cores and 2 subs.
- Guild Spar Point System remains the same.. Get enough points to participate
-Brackets are same. 32 teams in each iDevice and iMixed section.

Basically you gotta keep a good team and winning once wouldn't necessarily mean one big win. You need to accumulate wins to get a hat in one season! wat do u think xd. btw i made dis idea in 10 minutes.

I like the idea. But I feel it needs worked on. Making more frequent GST would be nice, and can actually get more people involved because people love them. I'd enjoy watching them

Making more GSTs will make them not important anymore and less ppl will participate in them.

However the GST can still be improved:
First of all, merge the idev gst with the mixed gst. No need to have two separate the users platforms by separating the gsts. It doesn’t matter if you are idev or a pc player in spar and other game factors so why should it matter in GST? I believe you guys said you’re going to merge the gsts when NGS comes out but why not do it now?

The way the brackets work should be changed. Gs points should only determine wither you’re qualified to the GST or not, it should not determine the brackets because you always get ppl messing with the brackets leading to have a 2nd/3rd round with 2 strong teams facing each other while a weak team got easier bracket.

The brackets should be like: having multiple groups of teams, each team will fight every single team in their group and for each win a point is granted. From each group the team with the most points will move to the next stage (could be the semi-finals if there are four groups) Then from here it will be a knockout stage.

No need to have 64 teams in a GST, there is barely 20 teams who actually does the GST to place when the rest do it for the GST item. With the brackets example I explained, we don’t need to have 64/32 teams.


The GST is the most fun part in graal so why not make it more fun by improving it even better? If you guys didn’t realize already it’s getting less competitive after each season. The way GST can be improved don’t require admins to do much work. The improvements are very simple.
The way the teams will be put into groups etc. All of this can be explained in full details if you guys (spares and developers) agree that the GST can be improved. I don’t want to write tons of paragraphs for nothing

I'm sure plenty of non-sparrers enter just for fun and thats the purpose of the gst

All I want is for brackets to be randomised so people don’t spend the week prior to gst, studying who there up agaisnt and tweaking there points to fit there preference

Would really love a round robin/double round robin league system with playoffs, but that’d never happen

I know this is very different from normal GST standards. But why not make it Royale style?

Say 15 teams get accepted. Create a very large battleground. 5 people per team. And it last for about an hour at most. All teams get sent in at once. And basically force people to strategically work together to bring down the 70 other people. There will be no healing. And GST rewards only go to the top 10 teams who make it. Or something Royale style. Would be interesting to see the overwhelming pressure put among players to fight everyone all together. Or maybe that'd be too difficult. I do tend to like to make things very difficult
