Please Do Something about the Lag in Events

The lag in events is unbelievable, not with just the event itself, but with players as well. The lag with entities in events is definitely understandable due to how big the server is and how many scripts are actively running at once, however, there needs to be something done about players joining events with high ping. I myself, and many friends have joined countless events where it would be immediately ruined by laggy players, not only making it unfair for ourselves, but everyone else as well. Several things can be done to prevent this, and I know the tools are available and already developed.
  1. Add a maximum latency requirement. For example, players over 500 ping can't join events.
  2. More staff need to be occupied during events, this way if someone is lagging, hacking, etc., they can simply unstick them.
  3. Several events occur at once, why not make different lobbies based on ping? Higher ping goes to higher ping lobbies, while lower ping players go to lower ping lobbies.
  4. A (very complicated) way to prevent server lag in events would be to temporarily transport the server to a different, standalone server where the events are hosted, then transfer them back to ClassiciPhone once the event is over.
  5. Anymore suggestions that are reasonable in the comments will be added to the list.

Here are several examples (and an explanation of what's happening) of the instances where players have ruined events for every player participating:

Thank you for reading, and I hope something can be done about this. (Dusty, I hope you're listening to the community on this.)

This. I have lost more events than I can count on both hands due to issues like this resulting in me having to spend a lot more money to get the tickets I need for the items I want.

There's another issue not stated above which really grinds my gears and that is laggy players being able to damage each other before events have started. Again, I have had to spend more money on bombs because I always lose them all when I join a snowball fight event (or any other while on .5 health).

Here's some stuff I've come across.

This girl was able to keep entering chance no matter how many times she lost.
Resulting in my loss.

There was a hacker in a snowball fight round I was in last night just running around at insane speeds without missing any shots. I reported him several times during and after the event when multiple GP's were online but he's still running around winning events as of posting this.

And the issue I talked about above. Laggy players being able to PK at the start of events.

Negativity aside I am really enjoying this event system. It's a step in the right direction and I hope we see more additions like it.

Possible fix for chance - kick them back to the carnival tent instead of the 'waiting area' a the bottom... Other issues are unlikely to be solved, though - it's not just in events that they are problematic, and nothing has been done for years (except mocking people who ask to fix the lag).

Thought this was about the few seconds of lag when a bot event message comes up.

That's from like 500-1000 people all sending responses to the server. :P

Since laggy players got a advantage over everything else in graal they shouldnt be aloud to enter events unless the team supports hackers to cause tbh laggy brazillians are just as bad

Fix: no automated events

But that would involve the gp's in actually doing something :0 *gasp*

It gets me so annoyed especially getting in cliff climber, with the lagging boulders that freeze and block paths, resulting in other players catching up to you.

It makes that last stretch at the top super exciting, too... with the pushing platform thing? Randomly shooting out or waiting inside. One of those rare times when a 'bug' could be seen as a 'feature.'

You'd get lag no matter what the latency is really of players in it. The more activity going around you that requires to load up movements to or load in general. I don't see really what admins can truly do about it because most actual lag in things like events and so on is simply the server. Not so much players ping even tho it could have a factor in it, But I'd doubt it would be solely caused by players lag alone, I am probably well known for most part for being laggy and such and I have never really experienced issues personally when it came to events. Only once with a player who had a mount and sword in a snowball fight, But they was fairly lag free it appeared for most part, wasn't warping around, or of the short. So I can only assume it is just the server not processing and removing players sword buttons and so on at times. Only way I think this can be fixed is doing Carnival events a little less often and never have 2 going at the same time. But I don't think that would permanently fix the issue.

Tbh I wouldn't say laggers got any real advantage over everything, if your like me and have a second of delay some things are just a pain in the rear. Prime example is catching a butterfly, Absolute pain because you'd have to predict, Be extremely accurate, And land the net ahead right where you think it will be, But they always move either a inch to right or change course.

Sparring, Maybe not for people who experienced it from the start of their graal experience possibly but for me gaining as much experience in normal sparring and having my own style going and worked out thsn suddenly getting delay 24/7 is like a punch in the face, None to little of your former techniques work, and whenever you spar you will probably be like me and still do stuff like bait and go behind them and hit and forget you delay and they take no damage and move. Or you get hit and they move, And any bit of lag personally if they start warping or such and I can't predict because that's soley what I base on now cripples that even more. This is mainly why I don't spar even closely to half as often as I used to. More a chore than a fun activity.

PKing is just iffy, Depends where you are. Open field PK is a absolute nightmare because you usually cannot hit them as they run away. Towering is so so. Hitting people is slightly easier but same time you get outnumbered quick

BKing though, Kinda is a advantage because I can just hit somewhere infront of me as they walk towards me, and walk away immediately and they get hit and I'll be fine. Unless it is slimes, They seem to be impossible to kill.
