Winter Questival

QUESTIVAL

Questival is a player-hosted event that's hosted by me and occasionally a couple other NightOwls members. The idea right now is to have it a couple times a year, whenever we happen to be free.

THE EVENT

The event will be Trivia based on Classic this time and participation is open to all. It will be held on 9th December @ 8PM EST. A link to a google form containing the questions will be posted then,only one member of the pair should submit it. Players are required to participate in pairs, anyone who does it solo or a team of more than two will be disqualified. There will be a total of 30 questions, winners will have to be the fastest to get at least 28 correct. I know that seems slightly far fetched but considering it's all based on Classic, you can't really get it wrong by running around and looking for answers

PRIZES

1st Place - 10K Per Player
2nd Place - 5k Per Player
3rd Place - 3k Per Player
Next 10 Places - 1k Per Player
In the process of farming all that now so prizes for certain placings may be slightly delayed

Details were decided using the results of the survey from the Questival hosted in June. I will be the only person hosting this time, other NightOwls members may be participating. Any questions can be sent to my player account on classic, Mielo (NightOwls) or here.

Why would you discourage solo players when there are teams/duos ?

Only duos are allowed, no more than that. From the past survey, many people indicated a preference to having team events. To limit the messiness this time, I decided to make it a compulsory pairing thing, also helps me to determine the amount I have to farm.

I don't see the issue with them participating in the event as well. If you are implying that I would be biased towards them and perhaps give them an unfair advantage you are wrong.

I wouldn't blame him though since there is a lot of things going around about Nightowls and mods who are in that guild.

i mean, i didn’t really mind too much about nightowl members hosting these events considering the mods are in the guild

but for the same guild to participate in events that their guild’s hosting?
it just kinda feels bias when you give it enough thought

the same could go for any other guild if they were hosting events and participating in them

The event is free, you won't lose anything.

Why bother going through the effort of making a public event if just to host and 'give' prizes to allies? Why not just make it a guild allies only event? :P
