I swear everytime I log on and Im in the Battle Arena there's always someone arguing about something or trying to troll, I get that Sparring is competitive but honestly, I feel like it got worse over the years since I was gone.

Gotta realize it's an activity that is essentially fighting with other people. You have to have a certain mindset to find that entertaining.

Speaking of toxic, we need to get you a new nickname and customs.

The Sparring community is toxic on all servers.

You have to realise that a lot of people's egos will go through the roof if they think they're half good at a mini game on an app on their phone - when you realise how pathetic that actually is then you'll understand why you should feel sorry for them and not angry at them.

Or even better, try your hardest to scratch their ego by whooping they ass

I don't remember spar queues being a thing in 2009, assuming you're talking about iPhone.

Umm you do realize fighting games are actually like the most enjoyable. Call of duty, etc. all fighting other people, how does one need a certain mindset to enjoy winning...

That pretty much explains itself. Nobody likes to lose, especially in a test of "dominance" like sparring. Some people can't handle losing, they feel embarrassed or shamed, so they take it out on the winner. That can cause them to form a big head when they start winning consistently, to the point that they even rub their wins in the face of people who come close to beating them. I'm sure you see these types of people all the time. They're what make the community seem so "toxic", especially to newcomers. Anyways, I'm pretty sure 4-Lom didn't mean that negatively. A lot of people don't enjoy that kind of competitive activity.
