A Quick Update
 
Hey everyone!

I'm here to give you a little sneak peek on what will be happening tomorrow. We've been receiving your feedback on basing and agree it needs an improvement. So here's the plan. First we will open all the bases again and remove the AFK timer. Then we will be changing the dynamics of gang points. You will no longer be earning gang points per minute while asleep in a base. Earning gang points will be based on killing players from other gangs while you are on a tag and inside a base. I'm personally very excited for this change and can already see the possibilities that this will be expanded on in the future.

By putting this into effect we hope this will encourage active basing. Along with gangs choosing selective peaces. If all of the gangs are peaced with one another then they won't earn gang points. We also want to make future gang point items more difficult to obtain, since they should be flaunted about to show your skill. Much like event items are.

Although this won't change peacing with guilds lmao
First you will need to scrap original items and restock fully of guildshop with this update implemented same time.. This update will more reward the active pkers/guild players(that's a good thing don't get me wrong)but peacing is very different it may slightly improve how things are but at the end of the day peacing will always exist and is pretty hard to destroy - Only minimal bases+Cuts on members(i.e 10members max) would improve peacing. It's basically obvious idkwhy servers haven't gone to that point yet. less players in guilds but like 3/4forts =more competition -harder but if server actually started like that in first place it would have been natural.

I don't know if you actually play this server at all anymore, but there was a point where nobody would attack anybody because they were all in an alliance together. If you visit the link I provided at the bottom you will see that the majority of the players only base to get gang points. Which is the reason the peacing became such a big problem. They all decided to not attack each other and just AFK in the base to collect gang points. Now if they do that, those gangs which consisted mainly of just gang point chasers won't get gang points. We're obviously not trying to remove peacing altogether. We just don't want bases to become a boring place to AFK at.

I've always supported the idea of decreasing the gang size to increase competition. I would rather have a gang size of fifteen that way more competition and when the gangs are awarded, everyone will actually receive the reward err it would be easier to pick.

Peacing would of happened anyway- Classic prime example, the gang points just helped it along.. I'm more in favour of this update though as pking was like main activity I liked doing lol not that I play much on many servers now but just giving input; may pop in now and then. *Cough* Graalonline Worlds year 3000*cough*

Doesn't this mean the best way to farm gp will be going solo on a guild tag and pking bases 24/7?

I thought he meant you get gp in base killing people who come into base not on tag killing them.

Not sure how well it will be recepted, since gp will now be earned by kills should currently earned gp only be allowed for purchasing the existing shop items as oppose to future ones? I'm not sure if this makes sense, afk points & pk points = old items and new items = pk points
