Misunderstanding
So a friend of mine on the internet asked me if I know a guy who'd hire him for content writing, I replied "No, but I might help you." I then proceeded to tell him about this business my friend's in and he must've taught I was talking about those networking scams and so he blocked me. Why am I posting this here? Well I just wanna ask is this enough reason for him to call the police on me? Those networking scams are a big problem in my country and I'm pretty sure he thought I was trying to convince him to get in that type of scam.
Sorry if I look stupid asking this, I'm uneducated in things like these. Sent from my ASUS_X008D using Tapatalk |
it wouldn't even matter cause you weren't doing anything wrong

For an officer to arrest you there are 2 main factors that come in to play; - Justified suspicion - Proof None of these apply, so you're free. Also, If you're under 18 there's even less to worry about. |
Oh ok, thanks for the quick reply I get stupid at times so I'm sorry.

I wouldn't stress too much about it dude, if anything does happen it's not like you've done anything wrong! |
you could go to jail and face a maximum sentencing of 5 years
|
Damn, almost got him...
|
Besides, even if your friend was recruiting for some internet scam, it's likely the police wouldn't care enough to do anything about it anyways unless it was some huge deal that involves drugs and murder.
Then again, I have no idea what country you live in |

Doubt you'll get arrested. Also, tell him he's an idiot. You won't get arrested for that either
