Consistency in Event Prizes
 

Right now, it seems like replacement prizes for repeat event winners is at each individual staff member's discretion and it's pretty confusing. For example, Slacky is known to give replacement hats to people who win an event if they already have the prize hat. However, Mashboyellis won't. It's not a matter of which is right or wrong, because that's all opinion, it's just that this variance does nothing but create problematic situations.
There are also staff members who will replace your hat one day, but then not others. Then, some of the staff who won't replace your hat will sometimes give you a cookie and others won't. It's just 20 different variables when it should be a universal yes or no, for the purpose of clarity and fairness.

I've personally tried my best to keep track of who will or won't give a replacement prize:
I sort of gave up though, because someone told me that Dual has given them a replacement hat before.

Can we get an established rule on this for staff to follow? Sometimes, I'll be in an event like Bush Race or Hidden Paths and I'll have no idea if I'll get a replacement hat or not. If I can't, I don't want to touch the trophy and win the event because I get nothing out of it.

It'd be nice if there was a clear rule on this so unfairness and/or drama doesn't happen anymore

Even if there were a clear rule, would there be a higher up admin there to enforce it?

I think there should be at least another admin present at an event. They dont necessarily need to be a higher up staff.

The only hat that will be given out is the one that is being hosted for, no replacements.

Probably before she did, but get into an event with her now and she makes it a point that she won't give a replacement

I'd like to clarify here.

The last time I gave out a replacement hat was Valentine's Day and I do not give out replacement hats any longer. The only reason I did then was because I was unaware at the time of there being a decision to not give out replacement hats.

All staff members should be aware by now that no replacement hats are to be given.

Edit: And by replacement hats I'm not talking about recolours. Recolours of same hat are fine, but there will be no completely different hats given.

If you have been in my past few events, you would have noticed that it has been clarified before every round that replacements will not be given out. Similar to Snoob, i have not given out any replacements since i was aware of it.

Okay cool, and I mentioned Slacky but the last time I got a replacement hat from him was a while ago and FYI I think he's a great event host.

What event hats are there recolors of then, besides Coco's hood?

Getting into so many events that you get duplicates? Sweet Mother of mercy just let someone else into the queue instead of mashing join

If you're not competing to get a new event hat, you are competing to preserve the rarity of the one you already have..!
