Titanfall 2 Free Trial Weekend
 

So the Titanfall 2 free trial has started for the weekend. You get access to the multiplayer portion and 2 single player levels. Are you guys planning on playing it? I personally find it to be one of my favorite FPS and it has a quite a bit more content than TF1. I suggest to give it a try if you're itching for a FPS, a mech combat game, or even a human/mech vs mech game. PC players will need Origin but PS4/XB1 users should see the free trial in their respective stores.

Easily one of the most underrated games to come out recently.

It's not though. Unlike COD that feels like the advanced movements are forced, Titanfall movements are fluid. It's not about just running around randomly but chaining the movements together to have full momentum. Titans also counter other titans and it's a battle of using the abilities/dash/core at the right time. The game is way better than COD and have flow to it. I dare say to at least remove something from your XB1 just to try the trial and see for yourself unless you use everything on the Xbox.

tbh i can't imagine titanfall 2 has much of a playerbase on pc especially through origin instead of steam

No honestly the pacing in this game is a lot better than the new CoD games because once you call in your Titan **** gets turned upside down (if you don't suck).

The only problem I see with this game is the auto-aim which pretty much breaks assault rifles.

The campaign is pretty nice though.

Yeah sadly population on PC is quite low. At peak times, it can be anywhere from 1.5k-2.5k. Weekends can go up to 3k. Not hard to find a match though since they changed the matchmaking system. Also EA's dumb decision to release the game between BF1 and IW as it impacted the sales. But still think the game feels much better and more fluid using keyboard and mouse.

I recommend people try Titanfall. It is a unique amazing game and there is no season pass or micro transactions at all.

I played it but idk what the ****'s going on 99% of the time. I just grapple across the map the entire match. Pretty fun so far
