The Lizardrons (or whatever is their name) bounty quest
 

So i got this bounty quest, which needs me to kill like 50 lizards (in destiny)..
And then i noticed that their hit boxes are.. well messed up (or is it me?) or maybe cuz they got this natural shield called "Server's Lag" which make them powerful asf.

And oh look, you just downed your lizards to 0.5 hp, it'll be a shame if.. someone steal it

There was some technique I used during Easter to farm the eggs for trading, making it relatively easy to kill them. I'd have to start fighting one to remember what it was but when I get around to it I'll make sure to record it.

If you go in head-on and spam your sword it's gonna kill you.

I think there is a technique involving arrows. Maybe with fire bombs, but that was patched.

My technique involved waiting for them to attack and countering I think.

For lizardons if you run onto a bench in the church after hitting it it most likely won't chase after you (doesn't work for all benches)

Of course as soon as I start recording it's impossible to find a Lizardon for me to solo. Although it's easier when there's more than one person to distract it.

Just circle the Lizardon until it breathes fire, then attack it's back.

Would this be easier with a party? Would be pretty cool to see groups doing the quest for lizardons together. I am not sure what the lizardon's blink timer is, but maybe someone could attack it's side, while it chases you.

Considering it only counts as one point per person it would be very inefficient. I find I can kill them faster if it's just me soloing it because it's going to be more predictable if it's just trying to attack me, instead of aggroing on random people. But it's easier with more than one person.

I mean, the only good way to take down a Lizardon is to circle around it and wait for it to breath fire. Once it breathes fire, simply flank it. It's also good to take one down in pairs or groups. Have a Lizardon chase you and have one of your buddies hit it while it's distracted. Me and some enthusiastic noob were having fun double-teaming the crap outta the Lizardons.

Other than that, nothing else works. It feels like they significantly delay when you try and hit them head on, unless that's just their shield. They feel buggy, I wish they didn't. Killing 50 is going to be a pain, and 1000 Gralats isn't worth that effort.
