OMORI
get ready for some O M O R I http://i.imgur.com/VHa1Lk1.gif this game's release date's been delayed many times throughout the last few years.. you could call it delteria, but plus the dedication!! the concept didn't really impress me but the quality was convincing, they have great musicians like slime girls and space boyfriend working with them and they released another batch of OSTs a week ago, here's some of it: Spoiler
the game is still in progress but it will most likely be released in 2017 sometime. the game will be released on steam, eshop, and many more irrelevant places, here's the trailer if you're interested: Spoiler
and their kickstarter page: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/omocat/omori (they raised over $200,000, which is a very good sign!!) |

I am super hyped for this game
for those of you who are confused... Omori is a psychological horror RPG that follows the life of Omori, a pessimistic boy who lives in White Space; a never-ending box of blank space which consists of a laptop, a tissue box, a blanket, a cat and a light bulb that hangs from the sky. In Omori's past, he had 3 friends: Kel, Hero and Aubrey. He used to go on all sorts of wacky adventures with the 3 of them, however, something happened between the past and the present that landed him in White Space, where he is no longer able to visit his friends. The game is about Omori trying to discover how he ended up in White Space by traveling through his memories in his dreams, which is explains why his adventures contain floating cats and multicolored monsters. The gameplay swaps between the real world and the dream world, where the dream world is a place of eternal happiness and the real world is a monochrome box of horror. In the end, you have to decide which world is the dream world and which world is the real world. |
reminds me of pokemon the way it looks during the open-world gameplay footage
looks kinda neat, kinda weird. I guess that's the point though |
