Question about loot

So is the max amount of loot we can have ever going to revert back? Currently I've got 4000+/200.

I don't want to sell my loot but if it's not gonna be reverted back then I'll be forced to.

Looks to me like it was done for a good reason. I suggest to sell it and move on. You won't be able to get any more otherwise (do you already have that seaweed hat?)
