We are Hiring
 

Hello everybody,
so to kick this off, yes we are hiring. We don’t have a set number of people we want to hire, but we want to see who sends us applications :) If we like you, there is a good chance you will be hired. We accept pros and apprentices alike, since we are in heavy development and can use every hand we can get.


An important thing we would like to see is creativity and the will to improve your skills. We have a lot of great people on the team, which can easily help you improve by giving constructive criticism or ideas. Our goal is to work as a team to get Zone back on it’s feet and to fully get the revamp going.


If you wanna be hired, please send an email to [email protected] , your applications will then be directed to the initial team leaders.


We hope to get some great and new developers onto the server, so I can’t wait for those applications to be sent in. We will check the emails a few times a week, and then also use it to contact you. You will also be contacted if we denied you.

Please send us infos for these General things:
- Graal ID (Player and PC)
- Which servers did you work on before?
- When did you first start playing Graal?
- Have you ever worked with the Remote Control (RC)?
- Which program do you normally use to create your stuff? (Gimp, etc)
- Have you ever been banned or jailed on any iServer or on the PC version?
- Have you ever played Zone? If not, is there a reason?
- What are you looking for in joining the Zone staff team?
- On a scale from 1-100 (bad-good) how experienced would you consider yourself in the category you applied for?




If you want to apply for the Graphics team, please send in a portfolio of the things you made. If you made different styles or worked for different servers, feel free to send in that stuff. Variety is always good, and while some people are best at heads and bodies, they lack in other categories. Don’t be afraid to show us your both, your ups and downs.


If you want to apply for the Gani team, please send in some ganis you made and the image you used for it. The more the better :)


If you want to apply for the Levels team, please send in some of your levels. It doesn’t matter which tileset you used, but please send them to as in both the levels file (.nw) and as a screenshot. If you used a different tileset then the one on Zone or the pics1.png, then please send that in too.


If you want to apply for a Scripter position, then please send in some of the scripts you made on graal. Also send a description of what your script does.

I hope anyone with dev talents applies and helps Zone. Zone has always lacked development staff even though it has so much that needs done. Good luck to those who apply, and good luck with receiving quality applications and getting the development capacity you need to run the server.

GL to all applicants, iZone really needs Scripters and Devs. But Devs are a dying breed nowadays.
