What happened to the bees?

I haven't been on since Feb. and there isn't any bees spawning.

Does anyone know what happened and why?

Shmegg 08-21-2016 03:43 AM

bees are dying at an alarming rate

Good job to Classic for helping raise awareness to this issue

They still spawn, but in bushes. Idk why.

To answer the OP, there was a 'bug' with the bug catching system which included bees, ladybugs, mantis, and cockroaches. Too many started to spawn, causing people to have far too many of each. To correct this, the administrators made the decision to first remove bugs all together for a while (when we had a monsoon), second to reduce prices that many bugs were salable for, and third to reintroduce the bugs with altered behaviors.

Bees now appear rarely in bushes. It appears you can't bomb the bushes to make them appear, from my findings, only slash it with your sword/pick it up/eat it with your horse. Also, they leap out of the bush like a jaguar. So don't get your hopes up.

i have collected them all to start count's apiary and meadery

as i am the only one with access to them we will first offer free samples of mead laced with an unnamed addictive substance then once everyone is addicted we will charge a premium for them

and that is how i will take control over iclassic

The monsoon probably confused the poor little guys, I constantly see a bee, time and time again that is flying north-west, not even chasing anyone, it is determined but clueless or maybe just migrating? Also ladybugs seem to have developed a teleport ability

I am a qualified bug catcher, and after doing some research i found that many bugs have been over-catched, meaning they cannot create more of their species because they cannot find others to do it with.

In conclusion, i believe we must release all bugs that we have in order to increase the population. Specifically bees, as we need bees.

Not even sure if they're actually catchable now (too fast), sucks as they were pretty fun to catch for a bit. Even if they were fixed, the price is beyond too low to make it worthwhile now..

African bees overtook the population.
