This subforum has gotten out of control

This subforum needs to tone down a little.

First off, there is wayy to much salt in this subforum right now. The number of seemingly bad relationships between people in this subforum is in the tens, and the general salt level within the population of Zone is higher than the dead sea. The hostility is awful and derails practically every thread; Too many people aggravate and abuse others. As a community, we should work towards keeping personal arguments/banter/etc. away from spamming and moving a thread off topic. Seriously, there are what, 100+ users of this subforum? I don't mean to be rude, but not many of us care for the drama that seems to be going on in every single thread.

I'd also like to discuss about the constant talk of improvement of Zone. There is obviously a wall between the playerbase and the staff team regarding the development of Zone. Time and time again, we, players, create threads on what needs to be done on Zone. However, the staff seem to ignore our voices and do nothing. Though, the staff team do work incredibly hard and only so much can be done with the workforce they have. It's time we address the issue that pretty much nothing can get across from each side (for lack of better term). As we are now, no one is happy, as updates are sparse and staff are under appreciated.

A slight disclaimer: I am not talking about any one specific person. If you feel targeted by this, then please understand that you are part of the solution to these issues.

Agreed Plat. Almost every thread here turns into a drama zone.

On the old forums we had moderators specified for our forums,
What graalians hire mods for specific sub forums? Plz don't b mean to m

Who's salty? I'm not salty.

I find you making this thread to be kind of salty.

I honestly agree with platinum on this. But it's just hard to take people serious who go like "Everything you did is ****, do it differently again" or "Chelt u suck, but take my improvement comment serious"

I try to take everyone serious on the forums. And eve not though I might get sassy of bitchy sometimes, doesn't mean I don't take those request serious.

But people also need to respect that if a decision has been made and we went back and fourth 200 times, that I won't argue got the 201st time about why we should change it again.

And I personally think that almost every person who has been in contact with me got a respectful answer

Zone has a lot of flaws. And like many people say " is a copy of Era". That's what I'm trying to change

Skt A. Sangue 07-10-2016 02:47 PM

Well Chelt never responded to my "I'm sorry" messages.

I even made another message telling you to reply to see if you even read it... Never replied #Disrespect

I've noticed that people on this subforum take grammar and spelling too seriously. Like y u no haf fun? Nabs.

Also, when stuff gets put out about GFX it always turns to a "you suck" type of thing.

Like personally I think you all suck... Lmao. Not even "32bit" if you feel me. But I don't comment it because I still think it looks good.

I also don't comment when things start boiling up(unless it was like my thread and I personally want to bring it back)(or if I'm being quoted... Because then you have to answer. It's like a law). What's the best way to chill something down? Just don't post on that thread.

I replied to your emails. Why should I reply twice?

PigParty 07-10-2016 03:21 PM

I don't know about all y'all, but I love the drama. It's fun watching threads go off topic. Although, prett much every thread on Zone is about improving it/what's wrong with it, so most posts aren't exactly off topic. Either way, I love cat fights.

:giggle:

But seriously HOW ABOUT STAFF make a thread(Kind of like the bugs/fixing stuff that classic has) But also for Updates on zone stuff.. How about Chelt or whoever high for zone does a thread and updates every zonian/graalian here with whatever they have done and when they have done it -Keeps the community updates and intouch with the staff.

Put it formated like(Example)
Fixed glitch with Unstick warping - 8/7/16
glitch was causing players to warp into water when unsticking from blahblahblah(just an example)

Progress on new tileset:
We have completed the ground floor on tileset also redoing blahblahblah -9/7/16

Showdown map completed:
A lava map has been completed, just putting final touches and changes to it, released within the week -10/7/16

DO THAT NOW.So everyone knows what you actually doing, if anything at all.

Yes, therefore players won't complain when nothing is added as that thread would state "working on...." or "Nearly finished..." or "Estimated time=(enter date here)" so much better than saying "soon" and then players have a hiss fit when nothing is released.
