Guild Limits...
 

Why are there guild limits now...?
You can only join 5 guilds now, and I am in 13 :0
I cannot be recruited to any more guilds unless I leave most of my guilds

It was changed like 3 months ago.

The primary reason for the change was to force players to get nostalgic and destroy old guild tags they had fond memories with.

Still the most un-needed change on Classic, imo

I don't see why it's even necessary, but oh well.
Guess I'd just have to deal with being unable to join new guilds.

to enable loyalty and discourage 'temporary recruits' for towering.

but i agree it's little unnecessary. or i'd say 5 tag is way too limited, perhaps 7-10 will do. considering the fact that I need to keep my family tag, best friend's tag, my own tag, my main spar guild tag, now there's more people wanting me to join their PK guild.. but i keep 1 space free for GS practice tag or any other temporary reasons.

i still own several more guilds for different reasons and can't even join them.

How to go around the system:
Log out of identified account
Get recruited in unidentified account
Login to identified account & transfer

I assume it would. I never knew they removed that if it isn't. That's what I did to be able to own multiple guilds at the same time. I had those difficult times when I wanted to keep my guild COVERGIRL, and Living like Larry; so I did that.
