Anyone every try out the Steam controller?
 
It's a hobby of mine to try out new gaming peripherals just for ****s and giggles, but for this one I decided to post about it, because the controller layout is so unfamiliar. Anyone tried one of these guys? Seems like it would be pretty interesting for dungeon crawler style games. \

Seems like a good mix of the classic game controller, and a touch directional system that could help mobile gamers that are transitioning to pc.

Rather just get a PS4 controller and download some pairing software to use it on steam games.

Would be significantly cheaper to buy a wired 360 controller. Microsoft also provides drivers.

Nah. Got my trusty PS4 controller, and DS4 to emulate a Xbox 360 controller for my Steam games. But don't use it in FPS as KB+M > controller.

I enjoy the grip of the Xbox One controller more and the buttons are better layed out IMO
