Connection Issues on PC Graal and iServers

Hi all.

Mainly posting this to bring some attention to an issue I'm having, see if anyone else has had this issue, or whether anyone has any suggestions for how I can get this solved. It's been an on-going issue for almost 2 months now. I'm well aware that there's probably nobody here who can actually get this fixed but maybe I can get some more information that will help me.

Just going to paste my posts from the PC Graal forum thread I made since they should have all the information.

Original post made May 5th (the issue had been going on for 2-3 weeks at this point):

Quote:

I'm posting this here because I submitted a Toonslab support ticket as well as e-mailing both Unixmad and Xor at their graal emails and speaking with Carlito and I still have no solution and no ETA on a solution. Not too concerned if this takes a while to fix and I understand people are busy, just hoping I can get a response here, at least that the issue is being worked on.

For the past 2 weeks I've been unable to login to either PC client or iClassic on my home network. I've tried logging in from my phone (both on my home network and on my cellular network) and my PC (both iClassic and PC client). In every case where I'm connected to my home network I get the error "Please login later." immediately upon connecting. The only situation in which I'm able to access Graal from home is connecting to iClassic from my cell network on my phone.

I've tried the normal troubleshooting steps for network issues (resetting router, waiting a while in case It's a server/ISP issue, etc) and I'm still unable to connect 2 weeks later.

There are a couple other IP addresses that I sometimes connect from. At least one of those is working fine and I am able to connect from that network.

The only other reference I've seen to this error has been in relation to the recently added anti-VPN solution (http://forums.graalonline.com/forums....php?p=1738462). I can confirm that I do not and have not used a VPN or proxy to connect to Graal nor do we have any settings on our home network that should flag the IP as belonging to a VPN/proxy. Not sure why my IP address is being filtered if the anti-VPN is actually the issue, but It's definitely mistaken.

Thanks.
At this point I was told to send my IP to MysticalDragon (Carlito) and sent it to him as requested. He forwarded it to someone named Nicholas, who I assume is managing whatever is causing this issue, but this guy has been MIA (along with Unixmad) for weeks.

I've messaged Carlito multiple times over the past few weeks (we're both getting tired of saying/hearing it) hoping for an update but without this Nicholas guy being present there's apparently nothing that can be done.

New post made today (after talking to Carlito again and before posting this):

Quote:

Still can't login after almost 2 months.

Apparently whatever can be done from global's end has been done by raising the issue with Unixmad/whoever this Nicholas guy is, and they've both been MIA for this entire time.

Not trying to cause trouble, just hoping I can catch Unixmad's or Nicholas' attention rather than bugging MD over Skype every few days. Anybody know of any way to contact either of these people directly that they might actually respond to (e-mailing Unixmad did nothing)?

Edit: confirmed I can login from every network I've tried so far other than my home internet. Still getting 'Please login later.'
Here is the thread where my self-quotes are taken from.

edit: I'm well aware that there are people that are still able to connect by VPN even though this "anti-VPN" system is allegedly in place. I could make all sorts of fun comments about the irony of that but I don't care enough. I'm also not planning to start connecting by VPN - the most I will do is connect from friends houses, school between classes, etc. I have no interest in going out of my way to play and spend money on a game where a 2 month long issue is being ignored by the people who can apparently fix it.

amazing how something so simple can take so long

Get your ISP to assign you a new IP.

Get your ISP to assign you a new IP.

Calling my ISP to get a new IP isn't an acceptable work around for a ****ty anti-VPN system and a total lack of activity/competence/care by the people who have access to fix it. Wanted to be patient about this and solve it as calmly as I could but It's ridiculous that I've been waiting two months for a 30 second job of removing an IP address from a list.

Also, don't feel like I'm calling out you, Xor, MD, etc because I know you guys don't have the access to deal with it. I'm calling out unixmad and that other guy who have allegedly been MIA for like 2 months (since around or before I started having this issue). You guys are incredibly lucky this issue isn't more widespread or Graal would probably just die since they don't seem to be in any position or mood to fix it.

Unacceptable for paying customers. Disappointing. =(

I mean you could continue to complain about it, or just spend 5 minutes calling your ISP. No one is trying to justify what's going on with you. They're just trying to help.

I could, or I could avoid having to reconfigure a bunch of stuff just so I can play Graal when the solution shouldn't take more than 30 seconds from Toonslab's end.

That's the best advice you're gonna get by complaining on here. Take it or leave it.

It's been 2+ months and surprisingly patient, and honestly I wouldn't be nor do I believe anyone else would. Also as someone who has worked in customer service industry for over 20+ years, I would not ask/expect a potential/paying customer to do the work to fix it. I would make sure, especially as a business owner, to apologize for the inconvenience and work diligently to rectify the situation. A simple fix for this would be for unixmad would be to add Relic's IP to the list as an accepted IP.

You should go into customer service, you'd be really good at getting fired

What's that supposed to mean?

Like I said, no one is agreeing with how he's being treated, but clearly nothing is happening. His best bet is to change his IP. I'm just stating facts.

Posting this here since previous attempts to communicate using Toonslab were not responded to and the global(s) I've spoken to seem to be unable to help resolve this currently.

Unixmad was able to add my IP to the anti-VPN's whitelist so I have now regained access to all PC servers along with the facebook/mobile servers Ol' West, iEra, Delteria, and iZone from all networks.

I was able to access iClassic from my home network for a single day but I seem to now be getting an permanent, instant "You have been disconnected from the game server." message when connecting to iClassic from my home network only. I can connect to iClassic from all other networks.

Since I have had no infractions on my account whatsoever since I started playing in January 2015, I trust that no admins would have seen reason to restrict my IP address separately from the restriction that was accidentally placed via the anti-VPN system (and since resolved).

I'm posting again now, hoping that an admin can check into why my home IP is being restricted from iClassic only considering this is something they CAN help with, and there shouldn't be any reason for the restriction. Like before, I've already tried all the usual fixes and haven't found a solution.

Thanks!

It's not in their control. The IP blacklist was something implemented by Unix.
