No More 1k Hats?
 

I'm down, especially since it seems like this is the next step towards the possible overhaul of guilds?

My one concern is whether or not this will last... They did the same thing back in 2011/2012, but reimplemented it after a few months.

I'm not part of the it group, but to what I heard here is that they will reform the guild system and add rewards for guild activity. The powers that be don't believe in rewards, but they understand they stand with the minority when it comes to that. The majority of iGraalers must have rewards in order to do anything in-game.

Hoping they will implement a points style system, where people who help for "X" amount of time holding a tower get "Y" amount of TP (Tower Points). Those points could be exchanged for hats or special items. This could stop the abuse of poor kiddos who are being abused by the current towering system of "rec and kick".

I'm personally hoping for a more diverse guild system with unique combat and terrain per tower. I mean this combined with the five guild limit update points towards something of possible worth.

So does this mean no more 5k hats and mounts or no? Or does this mean there is a new guild prize system like ol west has

Yes make hat rewards be 1500 hours like it is on west so y'all have to work longer.

Would be funny if 1 or 2 of the unbalanced towers like Destiny were closed temporarily.

Someone needs to lead a troll guild that targets and tower blocks guilds that have 200-700 hours. I would, but I wont be active enough this month.

as of today:
Synx 800 - needs 6:40 daily for 1k; will definitely succeed.
ZigZag 740 - needs 8:40 daily; will most likely succeed too.
Sangue 670 - needs 11:00 daily; kinda borderline considering they had 4hr total yesterday
BFM's 532nd guild; 620 - needs 12:40 daily; borderline
Assertive 490 - needs 17:00 daily; probably wont succeed
Talon 300 - needs 23:20 daily; boderline
illusive 230 - needs 25:40 daily; boderline- gonna have to haul ass with some doubles

I kinda feel bad for those guilds lol.

Okay this is kinda unfair, when I did regashi on my nub account I got banned when regashi did hit 870hours, now it's still banned for 1+month, means I triedhard for nothing.

They should give guilds with 500+hrs more time or something, for real...

About 29-30 days for all those guilds to hit 1K. They can do it.



Just wondering will the system remove hours or will it be by points?

If it makes u feel any better, I reckon at least 90% of those players already have a guild hat from a previous guild, and its not like the effort goes to waste - im sure it will stack over to the new points system

Finally, I've been hoping this would happen. Now people can stick with one guild, instead of hopping to the next one after 1k. Will also give guilds already over 1k a chance, since people won't exclusively join guilds under 1k now. Do the hats have to be submitted before the end of May, or do they just have to reach 1k by the end of it? I'm guessing submitted, but just want to be sure.

About time.. they should of done this a decade ago, be interesting to see the new guild system that's meant to eventually happen and see what prizes etc happen from that.

Every good video game has rewards. This is because players don't feel the same motivation to play without rewards. With that said, games need to make a good system to GET rewards. and 1,000 hour hat is not a good reward system its silly and creates no competition. They need to replace that idea with something better, but doing away with rewards completely is a dumb idea, no good game does that. Call of duty, star wars battle front... any game actually, rewards people with new things the "better" they get.

To me,
There needs to be a new guild currency added to the game. (points? maybe 1 point per fort taken, 1 point every 5 minutes you own the tower, less towers, tbh there should be ONLY two BIGGER towers so its REALLY hard to hold, instead of 4 or 5 small towers) 1 point for every guild spar won. then once you reach... 1000 points (this system I'm making up, obviously the numbers aren't working) you can upload your own furniture or hat using the upload site.
And guilds should have a new type of guild house that is much bigger. And there should only be ONE per guild.

I like it. Hope they stick with it not like last time after a month or so they just stopped and brought it back
