Ok so firstly, this is going to be a massive rant thread, give opinions.

Things wrong with ol west/where it went wrong.

Firstly almost every major staff member is inactive (Orange, slick, shiz) West should counteract that by hiring staff in the same position, for example another LAT, Gunsmith and Graphics Head Backup.

Secondly, the event item prices. FOR REAL. What went wrong, the hs staffs (blood fury, valkblade, nightfall, moon blade and nature staff) are literally the only Melee based hs items worth buying, it seems the others are just vanity and the prices are out of f**king proportion. For example- Lethal whip. 100 hs and it is terrible, boomerang, 100 hs, you guessed it! Terrible. Every other hs Besides staffs is lowkey terrible. Admins should seriously redo all the prices on the hs items depending on HOW GOOD THEY ARE.

Events- although this isn't a major topic for people who don't attend them. Events are hardly hosted these days. And when you ask admins they always say "it's an option to host events" Half of the deputys are inactive and friends of HW From era, for example- XXI, Ice, Ser, Jellybeans and so forth. And this is the reason the event count is low (also deputys are leaving) please re open deputy applications and make hosting compulsory.
Another thing, bring back event hats please, these things were actually fun to work for, admins would be motivated to host because they could give players a hat with them on their heads!
And one last possible thing. Give the admins 10 hs? And they can use 5/10 depending on how much time they have at the given moment.

Next, GST. Is this going to happen, it wouldn't be too hard? I mean they made a new gang spar arena. Also the GST would increase the influx of players (from other servers for gst participation) and therefore the profit, due to players buying guns for GST participation....

Balancing of HS>GP>Gralat Weapons.
Now, I Have The 100k Pk Pistols, Freddys (80 Horseshoes) And Crystal Bow.
Now these all take lots of work. In my opinion the Gang Points stuff is worth working for, because it's good. It seems it's favoured in the statistical side of things, nothing wrong with gp, but there's no denying the weapons are better. I think the freddys should be tweaked and little (+5 clip and 1 Damage) and the 100k pk pistols should be tweaked also to account that the Crystal Bow is mildly better than them. Even though imo the 100k pistols and freddys are harder to get.

Although this may be a bit difficult, can we initiate trial play or some form of advertising like tapjoy into Ol west? Might also increase player count/profit.

Another base please, this would be cool. Wouldn't be too hard surely? On Indian island??

Fix the mf mounts, mounts are terrible it's no faster than walking and gives u no extra health or benefit...

The first to 100k pks and 15k spar npc's were removed for no reason :/ we worked hard for them and you promised us them, gave them to us, then removed them...

Even though there is a reward for 100k pks- the gun I mentioned earlier, there is still no reward for 15k spar wins after months... Poor skrtt :/

Variation of spar arenas, I'd like to see a Melee spar, a starter gun/starter knife spar (with lowered hp like in zone) a speed spar (increased movement) a smaller spar arena, a spar arena with obstacles (like gang spar course) and a slow spar. Let players use the gs course with 1 person a side, and also make GS Wins count as a win/loss? Might make ppl actually want to GST.

Fix the kill leaderboards, the current kill leaderboard for Indian or cowboy kill records NO KILLS INSIDE BASES, the kills only go onto the board if it is outside a base, for example you could have 100k kills but only 10k Indians and Cowboys killed because you do a majority of your kills inside a base. Add daily, weekly, monthly kill leader boards.

Update the news- lack of updating the news and grammatical typos in news.

Increased furniture capacity and manoeuvrability of garden plots.

Colour coded health bar, green when full health, orange when medium, yellow when low, red when extremely low.

Bot events, please...

Spar points, 1 spar point a win/GS Win, use the, to buy items in a shop- much like gp points. This'll hugely increase the sparring community, heck, might even attract other players.

Has ol west been falling lately? If so i reckon its the staff's fault for not listening. After all is it not the players who are keeping the server running? Think about it. As they say customers always go first. MAYBE they will read this and take it into account or not but goodluck to the server.

Lol how the hell has Ol' fallen? It's been like this for months and going off the updates to other graal's we're actually the same/better off than some, just your expectations are wanting stuff that has already been said that it probably won't happen i.e hs items buffed you stated in post itself that it comes under being more a novelty item-that it does personally think gp stuff should be nerfed to aline with hs stuff so then everything aint OP that you guys want from hs stuff.

@events It isn't compulsory to do events -that is actually like an add on ingame you guys act like they should have a man sitting doing events 24/7 -although I'd more like to see a ol'showdown that can be played continuosly that gives out hs/pieces and has a ldrbd for players to see who wins the most.


Plus majority of this stuff said won't change the game at all.

If you actually think majority of this stuff wouldn't be better for the server then idk why the hell they hired you cause most of these things would boost up the player count at least and make the server a lot more enjoyable unlike how you noobs are running it. Also do me a favor and tell hw to get someone else to do the news till she knows English not gibberish.

ol'west failed man

they did a couple things they explicitly said they would never do

1. make guns extremely expensive
2. give players an edge over others (staffs, hs weapons, etc)
3. completely copied era in almost every single way

as far as I'm concerned ol'west failed as a server and it's playerbase will inevitably diminish

the game is balanced.

they made gp to go against hs so that hs wouldnt be the only strong items.

Don't consider me a high staff because I don't work there anymore.

Playing the game wont improve it, this is what,

He plays it, sees things and complains about them.

Lets be honest this server was screwed right when HW became the manager of it and it won't get anywhere till she dies from oldness or aids then we may get a manager that actually knows English and proof reads what they wright in the news.
