Im too much of a casual for this game

Then again, this without the annoying stamina bar would be perfect for me

Still have yet to play Dark Souls 2 :/ I love the first game tho. It's the only game I enjoy speedrunning.

It's the only game I enjoy spending $60 on.

Ds2 is definitely fun. I used to make all kinds of builds for pvp. Everyone would call me a hacker for backstabbing, after they roll. The messages they would send were full of rage... by far ds2 was the best one for me.

i can never beat ds2....
i hope the next game is somewhat easier

I don't think the Souls games are for you. I can guarantee you that is the exact opposite direction this game is going.

Its true, you can compare the DS series with the Monster Hunter series, both require you to dodge and avoid damage as much as possible, though unlike MH, death in this game is much more punishing.

I remember that guy made a promise on a British TV show to finish DS2 in a set amount of time (forgot), he failed and he got sued (lol), later on it was revealed that the guy was drunk when he made that promise.

I think From Software is mixing their gameplay mechanics from Bloodborne and the Dark Souls franchise into one very punishing game. Looks like it's going to be the toughest Dark Souls yet.

Yeah the trailer does look like that, which is good. Didn't want to have to buy a PS4 for Bloodborne.

bought the game and currently at 4th boss, anyone else playing? If so what class?

I'm still a casual but working on it, so I rolled as knight for that sweet shield

I finished in 4-5 days, and was super disappointed.

Most of the weapons I used in Dark souls 2 aren't that great in DS3 pvp. I used to one-hit people with daggers, dual avelyns. I used to use every weapon and be op with it in Dark Souls 2.

Dark Souls 3 pvp is so boring... magic is useless, daggers aren't that great. Maybe if they made an arena for pvp, instead of using red signs, or orbs. Parrying is so easy... that's how I win 90% of my fights... Parry Souls 3

Overall, the story was okay. Definitely the hardest souls game, but pvp just made me uninterested to keep playing. Maybe I'm just burnt from dark souls 2 pvp :P

But yeah, if they add an arena, and balance a lot of things, I might play actively. Right now, I hop on and do 1-2 matches from time to time, and get off.

Hardest game aside from Bloodborne. Can't even make it pass the 2nd boss (such a shame).

@Aguzo I dug my nails in to the game but sort of slowed down after Champion Gundyr - trying to beat him through parrying and not dodging - hopefully I finish soon.

PvP is great, I love being invaded, but yeah an arena would be nice. A friend of mine is near level 200 and doesn't want to level any further because he hardly gets invaded which sucks, so an arena would be hugely beneficial.

I'm surprised Bryan, I find Dark Souls 3 to be easier than DS2 personally.
