Do you guys know any fun facts that new players may not know?

Such as:
-Crabs used to drop m4
-first 1,000 iera players got a special hat
etc...

- Items used to be able to drop
- There was no trading tables
- VIP used to be monthly
- The tileset for the roads were changed in 2013

Crabs dropped m4 :o fu*k them for removing that

Vip is monthly again :)

The first wave of iera pros were iclassic rejects/noobs

Fun fact: people used to set up blockades around the islands to keep others from getting on, by using boxes. It was pretty much like liberating and establishing your own kingdom.

Partial transparency was allowed for custom uploads for a brief period of time

Glitching used to be a skill that you could make shells off of (when only shells was droppable) by setting up teaching lessons

You could have pet noobs. Basically, you buy fences and set them up in your house in a square formation. You rotate one of the fences as a door, so that when you lure a noob in the fence you quickly rotate the door portion and lock the noob inside. Keep in mind this was when there was no "out" button, and barely anyone knew what unstick me was.

This was also a great way to steal shells from people. You tell the noob that you won't let them out until they pay all of their shells.

At one point, you were considered a badass if you had the blue dragon car

When the hat shop on the dock by the bridge (forgot the name) was first released, it caused perhaps the most amount of lag in the history of era. It was documented on Youtube and there were at least like 300 comments from different people saying, "I'm in the video!"

Guns didn't cost a gralat over 5k in the early days

The first holiday shop was the 2011 Valentine's Day shop. I remember it was pretty much just a heart shaped rug, a skateboard, heart bombs, a pink feather hat, and a red couch/chair.

If you had a three letter abbreviated name, you were considered a legend by default. I don't know why, you just kinda were.

If you had the cop align your name was in the gold colour used for staff tags.

On the first day of release there were no revive potions so when you died you spawned in the hospital, there were also no, no pk zones so for the first day people spawn trapped the hospitals, and you had to be really quick to get out.

Start zone was also half its current size today, the majority of buildings were in enterable, and most of the map was the same as era pc just without the interiors/ functions pc had.

This isn't really a super old thing but is something a lot of people probably forgot but there was an event item lottery that gave 1 random event item to a random player. It was removed because it was pretty stupid seeing brand new players winning lightsabers worth 100 event coins when previously it was actually an achievement to have a saber

The first hat store opening in era to the right of start zone had no hats worth over 100 gralats, which were later increased.

Tec 9, shipka and pbp used to be event items that you would receive if you won an admin hosted event, were later made auction items and then sold in stores.

P2k was also briefly made an event item for winning one event, and had the over powered stats it had from era pc but was later removed from the game.

Hunting knife, kiwi knife and katana used to be auction items before they were put in the event store.

Admins used to host a bridge event where the bridge exits were blocked off and it was an all out dodgeball like pk fest on the bridge with one admin on each end of the bridge.

Admins also used to always sit unstealthed on tag in start zone on the roof of the start buildings (which now has a ladder to get up there) and would either afk or do Q and As

Sabers used to be a symbol of skill, with anybody getting one instantly becoming 'era famous' who everybody knew about. For a long time there were only 5 people who had one until other ways to get ecs were made.

There also used to be a glitch that let you remove your nickname completely

We had a worldchat so u were able to message the whole servers for like 11 gralats but no one used it so it got removed

- Everyone would use the peace bus area as a digging spot before it got changed around.

- A lot of buildings (interior and exterior) received redesigns.

- Southridge got redesigned by adding cliffsides.

Fun fact: all of the mlg 3r4 pr0s were banned frm classic and went to this **** game

I'm pretty sure only the very first kiwi and hunting knives were auctioned, then they instantly became hide n seek prizes

The auction house wasn't even released when the hunter and kiwi were released as prizes, auction house came a little after the katana was added
