New 3DS Slippery C-Stick

Has this happen to you? Your C-Stick become so damn slippery, your thumb just slips right off whenever you use it? That's what happening to me right now. How can I fix this without modifying my system by spraying weird stuff on it, or replacing the original c-stick with a modified one? Playing Monster Hunter for a few hours is difficult with this terrible c-stick.

Haven't noticed this, and I've put well over 1.5k hours on to the system.

Do you eat while you play or? Not saying that to put you down, curious

Nope.

Dunno then, I've had problems with the extra cursor on the right(can't remember what it's called, feel stupid.) but not it being slippery. I tore it with my nail, after playing MH4U for a couple months

Damn. I guess my thumb just sweat a lot. After a few hours in, and it's time to say farewell to friction on the c-stick.

Put some sort of texture material (i.e.: tire rubber) on the surface of the c-stick.

The question is, how can I keep it there forever after putting it on? I use my 3DS a lot, and the games I usually play are Xenoblade, and Monster Hunter. Those games needs the c-stick at all time, especially Monster Hunter online since there's no pausing while hunting online. Virtual pad is crap so nope. Not using that.

How the hell did you manage to melt your 3ds?

Have you tried using a tissue to wipe off the sweat? It used to happen to me when I played Graal on my iPod touch

This happened to me, but only after a few hours invested into playing with it.

When that happened I stopped playing, either that or I put on gloves (weird af) and continue using it...
